Within a few months, the global pandemic has affected the lives of pretty much everyone on the planet, from Urban China to isolated Indigenous groups in the Amazon. The US President has intentionally called it “the Chinese virus” and incidents of anti-Asian racism have increased. How has the COVID-19 pandemic affected various communities racialized as “Asian”? ROJ is hosting the first conversation in our Racism is Real Dialogue Series. A panel of guests will discuss Anti-Asian Racism and COVID-19 via a video conference on Zoom on Thursday, April 16, at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Anyone can participate but registration is required.
